Christoph Hesse

Master of Architecture in Urban Design
He was born in 1977, grew up in the highland area of Sauerland in Germany. He received a Diploma in Architecture from ETH Zurich and a Master’s degree in Architecture in Urban Design with distinction from Harvard University.
He taught architecture and urban design at Harvard University, Technical University of Darmstadt, Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture in Saigon, University of Kassel, and Cairo University. Currently, he serves as a visiting professor at Tsinghua University.
In 2010, Christoph Hesse Architects was founded in Korbach and currently employs an international team of 15 people. A branch was opened in Berlin in 2018. The office has received numerous awards, e.g., the Architectural Record Design Vanguard 2020, the European 40 under 40 Architecture Award, the Architizer A + Award, and the International Architecture Award.
Hesse’s projects have been exhibited at Aedes Architekturforum in Berlin, Architekturgalerie München, Time Space Existence in Venice, Shchusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow, Architekturgalerie München, Haus der Architektur in Graz, New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, Architektur Galerie Berlin, Contemporary Space Athens, experimenta urbana in Kassel, Venice Architecture Biennale and Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt.
Dirk U. Moench
Architect, Founder at INUCE
He is an internationally active architect of public and private projects of all sizes. As a Brazilian- German who spends his professional life between Europe, Latin America, and Asia, he fosters an approach to architecture revolving around the fruitful dialogue between culture-specific vernacular architecture and the universal values of modern architecture.
In 2011 he founded INUCE with offices in Switzerland and China. His work focuses on the fields of residential and office architecture, the revitalization of historic old town areas, as well as religious architecture.
In addition to his professional career, he served as Associate Professor at the University of Fuzhou, where he taught architectural and urban design and is currently researching for his architectural theory dissertation on the Genesis of Contemporary Chinese churches.
His work has been widely published and has received many prestigious awards, such as the “Europe 40under40 Award”, and the Chicago Athenaeum‘s “International Architecture Award”, among others.
Mert Eyiler
Architect, Founder + Director at MeMALoNDoN
Mert Eyiler completed his undergraduate studies at Anadolu University and Istanbul Technical University and his master's degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He worked with Nevzat Sayın at NSMH between 1996-2006 and founded his practice, MeMA, in 2007.
He taught architectural design studios at Yıldız Technical University, Istanbul Kultur University, Istanbul Bilgi University, and Bahçeşehir University. After his various national and international successes as an emerging architectural practice, he moved his practice to the UK and established MeMALoNDoN.
Having achieved many national and international successes such as the Arkitera Young Architect Award and “40 Under 40”, Eyiler became one of the TEDxKaş speakers held with the theme of “Escape to the Future” in 2018.
MeMA was founded in 2007 in Kuzguncuk by Mert Eyiler. Since the establishment of its UK office in 2017, it continues to produce projects, buildings, and ideas in Istanbul and London.
Researching the boundaries of architecture as a profession and/or occupation, MeMA+London was featured in AD Magazine's special issue of "Transforming Turkey: Eight Young Practices" and was awarded the Arkitera Young Architect Award in 2012.
In 2016, he was selected among the “40 Under 40” most prominent European architects published by The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Genedos Coop. campus project was shortlisted in the Experimental category at WAF 2019 and the Salamander project in the AIA UK Excellence in Design Awards 2020.
Mino Caggiula
Architect, Founder at Mino Caggiula Architects SA
His career began in Switzerland, at the construction company Michele Barra in Ascona. He graduated with the federal diploma of a bricklayer at the SPAI in Biasca in 1997 and got a diploma in Architecture at the SUPSI in Lugano in 2001. To complete his humanistic education, he attended the Architecture Academy in Mendrisio, working during his studies in various fields of architectural construction and planning.
From 2004 to 2005 he attended Columbia University in New York with Professor and Architect Kenneth Frampton. During this period he had an important working experience at architect Steven Holl’s studio, with whom he won many international competitions. Among these, the first places for the Herning Center of Arts in Denmark (inaugurated in 2009), the Museum of Ocean and Surf in Biarritz, France (inaugurated in 2011), and the building of the Linked Hybrid Complex in Beijing, China (inaugurated in 2009).
From 2005 to 2007 he took part in numerous international conventions and got the Master of Arts in Architecture at the Academy in Mendrisio, by presenting a project for the urban renovation of the entire Venetian Lagoon with Architect Elia Zenghelis. The project was awarded the first SIA prize and the first Veneto Region prize.
While maintaining close cooperation with Professor and Architect Elia Zenghelis, he decided to pursue an individual career and started his architecture studio, Mino Caggiula Architects, in Lugano.
Constantinos Yanniotis
Head Architects at Yanniotis & Associates Architectural Bureau
He graduated from the School of Architecture NTUA in 2011, following the completion of his studies of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Patras in 2003. Since 2015, he has been running the Yanniotis & Associates Architectural Bureau as Head Architect, having expertise in Inclusive Design.
The Bureau has been active in the field of Architectural Conceptualization, Design, and Planning since 1977, when it was first established by Yannos and Vassiliki Yanniotis. In its long-lasting activity, the Bureau has completed a significant number of projects in various fields of building design and urban planning, ranging from residential buildings and office spaces to industrial buildings, tourist facilities, golf resorts & sports centers, culture, restoration, and reformation of listed historical buildings, urban planning, interiors, special designs, etc.
Facing new challenges, contemporary design accounts for Inclusive Design Practices, Sustainable Energy Technologies, and Integrated IT Services.
