Oliver Steinbauer Tell a friend
STEINBAUER architektur+design, Austria
He was born in 1989 near Vienna, Austria. He studied architecture at the University of Applied Science - FH Joanneum in Graz. At the age of 28 he founded the studio STEINBAUER architektur+design.
After graduation he worked for Marte Architects on the construction of the new exhibition halls in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg. When he returned back to the lower Austria Steinbauer he focused on his own designs and architectural-competitions for which he already won awards and competitions.

His most remarkable achievements are the second place in the Austrian contribution to the EXPO 2020 in Dubai and the first place in Europes wide competition for the revitalisation of Peter Behrens’ tobacco factory in Linz. He is also multiple awarded with varius international architecture prizes.
