Marcelo Ruiz Pardo (Spain, 1980) is an architect from the School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) since 2006. Since 2012 he is Lecturer of Architectural Design at ETSAM and has been a visiting critic and lecturer at universities in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, El Salvador, and Puerto Rico. He is currently Ph.D. candidate at the UPM and is a member of several Research Groups.
He is currently the Director of the architecture and engineering firm, RUIZ PARDO – NEBREDA, based in Madrid and founded in 2011 together with Sonia Nebreda (Building Engineer). They have completed works in Namibia, Zambia, Puerto Rico, Paraguay, El Salvador, and Spain. Their work has been awarded important accolades and it has been widely published and exhibited in the International Architecture Biennials of Argentina, Quito and El Salvador, as well as in collective exhibitions of emerging architecture in several countries.
