Julien Rouby co-manages rhb architects, an architecture and urban planning agency in Strasbourg, along with Julie Hemmerlé and Nicolas Brigand. All three are graduates of INSA Strasbourg. In 2009, they founded the agency rouby hemmerlé architects. Nicolas Brigand joined the team in 2014 as an employee and became a co-partner in 2017.
Driven by a search for exchange, transmission and debate around the architectural and construction project, Julien Rouby and Nicolas Brigand are also temporary teachers at INSA Strasbourg. The agency rhb architects thinks quality architecture can be achieved by seeking sobriety, sincerity and durability.
They wish to bring renewal and dynamism through their projects. This way of apprehending the project imposes a rigorous approach which enthusiasm and perfectionism are essential to nourish a sensible vision and a constant questioning.
