Ingrid Sabatier is a founding partner and the creative master-mind of ISSS research architecture urbanism. She received her diploma in architecture from ENSA-Marseille and a post-master in urbanism from ENSA Paris-LaVillette.
She gained experience working at international offices before starting her own practice. 2010 she founded ISSS with Stephan Schwarz.
Her work focuses on future oriented design concepts in architecture and urbanism, she is driven by a constant search for beauty and excellence at any scale of project.
From 2012 on she has been teaching in different universities in Europa such as ENSA-Marseille, ULB Bruxelles, ENSA Paris-Malaquais, TU Berlin. She is a member of the Architektenkammer Berlin.
ISSS research | architecture | urbanism, was founded in 2010 by Ingrid Sabatier and Stephan Schwarz in Paris and is based in Berlin since 2012. Following a collaborative design approach, the studio works on holistic concepts, reaching from large-scale urban design schemes to innovative architectural proposals. In our projects we are searching for meaningful spaces, deeply rooted in their specific context, robust and flexible enough to respond to uncertain futures.
