Atelier Archiplein – France

Francis Jacquier is born in 1982 in France. He is the co-founder of Atelier Archiplein, with Marlène Leroux. They both graduated from the Polytechnical School of Lausanne, Switzerland and set up an office right after, in Shanghai. Following 5 years of Chinese experiences, the office move back to Switzerland where it develops a construction research based on a deep understanding of historical heritage and a profound interest on ecological issues that formalize an architecture composed with natural material such as massive stone.
Francis Jacquier is also post-graduated from the prestigious architecture heritage school "Ecole de Chaillot" in 2013 in Paris. He is regularly invited as teacher or lecturer in several architecture School ( EPFL, UNIGe, Augsbourg, Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble, Versailles etc..) and from 2015 he is following research activities as one of the Pilot Architect of the Geneva's Architecture Census.
