FAHR 021.3 – Portugal/Germany

Filipa Frois Almeida, was born in Germany in 1981, is an architect and photographer.

Graduated in architecture from Escola Superior Artística do Porto in 2006, she took Erasmus at Technische Universität Berlin in 2004/05.

At the same time, he studied photography at the IPF in Porto and at the Imago Galerie in Berlin, and exhibited her photography work in Porto, Barcelona and Berlin.

Between 2007 and 2011 he lived and worked in Berlin, where she collaborated with architecture studio J. MAYER H.

In 2012, together with Hugo Reis, she founded FAHR 021.3, an experimental and creative studio that, through the combination of the disciplines of art and architecture, seeks to rethink and redefine the spaces that surround us.

Since then, the FAHR duo has been awarded nationally and internationally with urban interventions such as Metamorfose (Porto) and Nappe (Taipei).

She is also one of the creators of the HODOS project, a collective that aims at the intervention of art and architecture in the landscape.
