THE ORBIT is a 42,000sqm regeneration project, transforming an existing structure, into a contemporary tech-hub urban campus, aiming to revitalize the area by making a positive overall contribution.

The façade, consists of an iconic design embedding environmental-responsible properties into its architecture, making the building one of the few buildings to acquire LEED Platinum certification in Greece.

The façade connects and unifies all elements via the white striations made of white Aluminium-composite panels. These white ribbons run along the building, providing solar shading, protecting the interiors from the local hot climate while they offer extensive horizontal and vertical plantation areas, easing the lack of green areas of the neighborhood, due to high urban density.

Combining the façade plantation, the vertical gardens, the sky, and roof gardens, 90% of the plot area was achieved to be green.
The building has become an inspiring landmark while setting the surrounding area in an “Orbit” of regeneration.
