The Annemasse four-star hotel is located at a nerve center in the heart of the city on the forecourt of the new station square.
Its strategic location makes it part of the dynamics of change in the cross-border territory of Greater Geneva. This establishment has 102 rooms, a restaurant, a conference center, and a rooftop bar.
DREAM was in charge of designing the building as well as its interior. The building envelope is mainly mineral and consists of a metallic and reflective volume at the last level. The main volume, ground floor, and current floors are made up of double mineral skin.
Outside, a skeleton of cornices and prefabricated concrete columns, in homage to the Annemassian neoclassical heritage. Added to this is a second skin, a thermal envelope of the building, made up of a mineral coating with two “earth” tones and randomly carved aluminum joinery.
The upper volume, including a bar with a panoramic terrace, is treated as an independent element of the general volume. It offers views of the city and the surrounding nature.
