Project description: The house and its fragment of the hall are a beautiful work of interest from the industrial heritage of the 19th century.
This third place aims to be a place dedicated to well-being. It is about bringing together different programs of distinct characteristics with modularity, sustainability, and well-being as principles. A place that takes into account current environmental issues.
The building is designed according to three principles: compactness, modularity, and openness. The intervention aims to reuse the existing timber frame in order to reuse it in the new construction. A wooden frame elevation is placed on the lowered part of the house.
The use of bio-based materials is favored with the implementation of wood wool insulation. The ventilation is handled by a double flow plant with energy recovery. Rainwater is partly collected and reused in the project.
