Project description: Magister is an exhibition space that houses the ancient Romanesque frescoes of Santa Coloma Church, situated just 100 meters away.
It is staged in its environment, acting as an autonomous structure giving order to the landscape with its organic form and wooden structure.
These certain elements distinguish it from the existing architecture and render it an autonomous object that animates the exterior spaces.
The aim of this project was to develop a strong link between the existing church and the future exhibition space in a way as to conserve the culture of this historic area.
Its installation, orientation, interior organization, and the imbalance of its composition are all a reinterpretation of the Roman edifices and a dialogue between the past and the future.
