DUA Ireland

Darragh was born in Dublin in 1985. After Graduating from DIT Bolton St in 2010 he went to work for RCR Arquitectes, there he gained invaluable experience working along side with some of the most highly recognized architects in the world.

Upon returning to Ireland, he worked with award winning architecture firm ODOS Architects for two years, before founding DUA in 2015.

He was selected in Wallpapers Magazine Architects Directory as one of the world’s best young architectural talents for 2017 and the Irish Times featured him in 2018 as one of the Rising Stars of Irish Architecture.

At DUA they believe in high quality holistic design where materiality, detail design and the needs of the client are intimately connected. They have worked on a broad range of projects covering a variety of scales and functions, many of their projects have won awards, featured in exhibitions and have been published worldwide. This includes Product Design, Furniture Design, Exhibition Design, Residential, Commercial, Cultural Buildings and Masterplanning.

They feel architecture should be contextual, experiential and material focused involving as many of the senses as possible and not merely visual or restrained by pre conceived conventions.
