Dragon Armor™ metal shingles are a unique addition to the world of roofing and construction, in general. They are usable in almost any creative context: roofing, siding, wainscot, landscape sculptures, water features, accent walls, interior fireplace surrounds, bath enclosures, and more.

What makes Dragon Armor™ a Green Good Design is that there is no waste. Dragon Armor™ is designed to fit every project precisely, regardless of shape. Whether they are standard rectangular roofs and walls or convex and concave accents, or onion domes and turrets, it can be altered by as little as 1/16” in the vertical or horizontal dimension, and it is still manufactured and installed the same way to fit exactly. Instead of designers having to limit their designs to match existing materials, they can design first, and then Dragon Armor™ is tailored to fit even the most creative projects.

Dragon Armor™ is made from any kind of sheet metal stock. Painted steel is the most common and by its nature is generally 50-60% recycled content. Add to that, its longevity compared to other materials makes it environmentally friendly. It will outlast traditional products minimizing landfill waste and transport. It requires no maintenance. In copper, it starts out at about 85% recycled content with a forever life cycle - and it is aesthetically stunning, too!

Most often designed in a diamond profile, it can be made in triangles, parallelograms, pentagons, and hexagons with the same ability to size it precisely to any project. One of its most interesting uses is to clad geodesic domes in a continuous metal system bottom to top that will not leak. They can be mixed and matched in color, size, and shape for creative artistic elements.

In traditional construction, there is the raw goods supplier who ships to the manufacturer, who then ships to the wholesaler, who then ships to the dealer, who then ships to the installer, and then to the job. With Dragon Armor™, the raw goods are only shipped to CLISSET LLC, the company then design templates that are cut, fabricated, and finally shipped to the job to be installed by the company. Environmental impacts and costs are minimized because the team designs, fabricates, and installs. This enhances its green footprint.
