The Sea-Doo Spark is a personal watercraft created to provide fun, memorable, and accessible experiences for a wide range of people. An evolution of BRP’s iconic Sea-Doo Spark launched in 2014, the new design has received numerous improvements pertaining to comfort, ease of re-boarding, hull dynamic and accessorisation.
The design semantic is more organic than the previous Spark, first to make it smoother for the rider as it is a rider active product, and secondly to appeal to a broader audience. The open exo architecture is made of lightweight recyclable materials, while maintaining its price point advantage of the PWC industry.
The BRP Design team was challenged to develop a personal watercraft that would cut fuel consumption in half while being cleaner and creating a more affordable entry point to attract new consumers.
The team wanted to ensure that the new platform was made with the same number of parts as the original platform to provide the same playful intention as the original Sea-Doo Spark. In keeping with its essence and heritage, we are guaranteeing the product’s accessibility with an affordable price.
The new Sea-Doo Spark is fitted with wider seats, more legroom and optimized inner leg protection for comfort. These dynamic features allow tricksters to challenge themselves with improved maneuverability.
Several ergonomic improvements ensure smooth re boarding with strategically placed textured grips. Improved cargo solutions include a watertight phone compartment and larger front storage area for convenience and peace of mind.
The Spark is built using recyclable materials such as Polytec and powered by the low-emission Rotax 900 ACE engine.
The designers designed it for recycling and reuse which is aligned with UN SDG’s (United Nation Sustainable Development Goals) responsible consumption and production SDG’s 12 and climate action SDG’s 13.
