This freestanding bathtub represents a luxurious option that will accommodate either an individual or two people. The asymmetrical design offers a novel aesthetic while facilitating new functional aspects. A person may occupy different positions, sitting more upright or more reclined. Ergonomics always offer both large and small persons a desired and pleasant position. Although the tub can accommodate two people, it was important that neither too much water nor too large a space requirement is needed.
The design is characterized by soft surfaces and round corners to achieve a pleasantly inviting effect. Two edges running into the surfaces at the head ends give it a new character and offer different ergonomic functions.
The tub is composed of two acrylic parts to form a homogeneous unit.
Looking like a monolith and therefore offering an elegant outside. The hollow shell construction acts heat-insulating and facilitates a favorable weight to size ratio.
