Creating Story for our client
Echo 655T is a biotech system offering revolutionary liquid handling using sound energy to precisely affect liquids.
In a competitive space like lab equipment product, you want to stand out and memorable to the customers. One way to do it is by creating an Iconic product. We captured Labcyte’s strength, the unique sound technology to a monumental way. Once the customers see the product, they know the story behind the technology.
Studio Red applied a simple element(s), materials and graphics to visually upgrade the back of the product because we believe every touch point of the product should be considered.
Challenge/Solution
The component of product was big and heavy. Instead of trying to reduce the visual volume, we approached this in a different way. We thought this product as a monument, a statement of the innovative sound waves and technology. We designed to be bold and noticeable like a piece of architecture. We mocked-up the product in various stages. We wanted to have human-scale mock-up to know how people feel and interact with the real product. Although the product was big, we wanted to have a perceive value that is light and reliable, not heavy and outdated.
