Situated in an area marked by urban diversity, the building makes a bold statement, poised to catalyze development in surrounding neighborhoods. The project unfolds in two phases: a horizontal, green cover, and an objectual, white one. Ground floors seamlessly connect with Granja’s riverside park, hosting public spaces beneath a green, undulating roof. The remaining structure rises above the horizontal field.

Aimed for the Portuguese Football League’s institutional use, the facade reflects football world nuances. The lower podium houses public facilities like a 300-person auditorium and the first museum of professional competitions. Above, a glass-clad volume serves the offices and administration uses. Additional areas include a ‘High Tech’ football zone, restaurants, a shop, training rooms, business incubator and a research center.

Multipurpose rooms offer flexibility for events and sports lectures. Designed as a fluid, open space, the Liga Portugal HQ stands as a visible urban beacon embracing community openness, tightly connected to the city.
