The project redevelops Porto’s former football stadium site, filling a crucial urban gap. Located in a prime area, it is part of the Antas Urban Plan proposed by Manuel Salgado, conceived for Euro 2004’s Estádio do Dragão. Proposing six mixed-use lots for housing and commerce, a larger unit produces smaller ones capable of regulating the challenging topography and morphology of the place.

The design dialogues with neighbouring models and urban volumes. Green spaces, integral to a cosmopolitan strategy, permeate the block, fostering shared recreational and sport areas. A skilful organization and typological blend of fixed structures and dynamic flexibility characterizes the building, achieved through sliding horizontal slabs, offering a unique facade.

One- and two-story dwellings, many with outdoor spaces, seamlessly integrate greenery, connecting the expansive built volume to the Alameda das Antas surroundings. The result is a naturally complemented exterior, enhancing the overall dynamism of the facade.
