Serdivan Houses are designed to become a trendsetter with its three-level restricted height housing typology at Sakarya, Turkey.

Four blocks are lined up along stretched site, allowing a total construction area of 3,450 sqm. Each block consists of 6 units. Living rooms, terraces, and kitchens are gathered at the front and shifted horizontally at each level to create an asymmetrical facade composition along the site.

The careful selection of local natural stone panelized in varied large rectangular cuts and surfaces, treated to have a rough textured finish. Vertical alignment of the stone cladding is interrupted by horizontal aluminium finishes to create a volumetric play to blur the units' leveling lines and neighboring relationships. Window openings are a result of the three-dimensional shifting of the metal and stone facade fragments. The facade design mediates the major experience between the units' well daylit interiors and their external social and green master planning strategy.
