This project is designed as a pilot realization, the first module of a new dense individual housing neighborhood.
The buildings' volumetry and the simple architectural vocabulary answer to the double constraint of (thermal) compactness and economy of construction.
The program is divided into two built entities articulated around annexes, areas and equipment. Housing areas can be easily split to respond to the family unit's evolution and/or to the creation of an activity space. The large walkways and the car-park constitute an important reserve of the surface of extension and restructuring without the resumption of foundations.
Built entirely with wood collected and processed on the territory and isolated in wheat straw, the project is the result of a background reflection on grey energy, bio-sourced materials, and local, sustainable development. The project achieves the performances of the "passive building" call for projects.
