Biography:
Tanya Ruegg (b. 1973, Moscow) is Creative Director and Partner in the architectural Studio of Camenzind Evolution. She graduated with a Masters at the Moscow Architectural University from where she went on to take a Masters in Art and Architecture at the Royal College of Art in London. In 2001, Tanya joined Camenzind Evolution Architects in Zurich and became Creative Director in 2004 and partner in 2007. Tanya is the company‘s creative mind and its inventive force. Her inspiring thinking as the creative lead for all projects, has for example led to the development of a new wood/glass cladding panel, for the Seewurfel project, which transformed the external spaces into a poetic, warm landscape. The new Google Zurich office, which was created by her is an amazing work place design, which enables and fosters the creative and innovative drive of the Googlers. Cocoon is a spiralling communication landscape which was developed by Tanya and her team, creating a totally new spatial approach for office design. Tanya creates inimitable solutions centred on the users believes and achieves the project‘s ultimate goals by combining passion and emotional design with an innovative and futuristic approach.
