Lorena Franco de Souza Ferreyra, M_Arch CAP

Studied Architecture in ‘Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas’ (UPC) in Lima, Peru and then completed her 2 years postgraduate studies at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). She is a RIBA Part 3 Architect from Westminster University and worked for 6 years at Foster and Partners, being involved in important and large scale projects around the world and in the UK.

Cofounded “Cheng Franco Arquitectos” in 2012. As Director, she leads different commercial, institutional and residential projects. Her work at the practice has been published in different media platforms.

She has been professor at different universities in Peru; her thesis at the Berlage Institute has been published in the Book “Emergent Technologies and Housing Prototypes”. Her work was recognized in the Biennale of Young Architecture in 2013. In 2014 her practice wins the national competition for the design of the new 36,000m2 National Archive of Peru.
