 Jorge Cheng, M_Arch CAP

Studied Architecture in ‘Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas’ (UPC) in Lima, Peru. Completed his M_Arch ‘Design Research Laboratory’ degree at the Architectural Association in London, United Kingdom. RIBA Architect from UCL Barlett University. He worked for 8 years as an associate at Michael Aukett Architects, being responsible for important and large scale projects around the UK.

Cofounded “Cheng Franco Arquitectos” in 2012. As Director, he leads different commercial, institutional and residential projects. His work has been published in different media platforms.

Awards include 2004 ‘Far Eastern International Digital Architectural Design Award’, FEIDAD. His work was recognized in the Biennial of Young Architecture in 2013. In 2014 wins the national competition for the design of the new 36,000m2 National Archive of Peru. He teaches the design course Workshop IV at the ‘Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas’ (UPC).
