This project is located in a parisian suburb, Vitry-sur Seine, in the neighborhood of Coteaux near the Route Nationale 7, a national highway, and the metro station Villejuif – Paul Vaillant-Couturier. In contrast to the Route Nationale 7 a noisy artery of North-South traffic, the neighborhood of Coteaux is, a calm, suburban zone with lots of green space. It was essential for us to preserve the specificity of this locale when we designed our project. One home, one yard! This was the watchword of the project from the get-go. For each residential unit, we took a holistic approach that encompassed exterior extension, light quality and positioning. This approach resulted in a complex establishment that couples typological diversity with urban continuity. The collective spaces and common portions were configured to maintain qualities of balance and free flow. These 49 residential units respond to the contemporary demand for housing by offering future inhabitants a quality lifestyle in accordance with values of sustainable development.
